Lepanthes calodictyon Hook., Bot. Mag. t. 5259. 1861.

TYPE: [Ecuador]. The plant was discovered by Mr. Spruce, and the specimens figured were imported by Mr. Crosse, and flowered by Mr. Osborne of Clapham Nursery. Ad truncos inter muscos, in sylvis Cinchona succirubra ad pedem montis Chimborazo, alt. circa 300 ped., Aug. 1860, R. Spruce s.n. (holotype, K; illustration of type).
